"All the women in my family have pelvic endometriosis. And so from the time I was 13 or 14 I started getting really bad period cramps. Like really bad. I would have to stay home from school. So I went on birth control because it helps control that. All the women in my family have had to have hysterectomies by the time they were 35. So the birth control dosage I'm on is so high that I just don't get it anymore. It's kind of scary because it makes me worried I might have trouble having kids if I decide I want to...I don't think I've had a normal experience. Sometimes I wish I could have it because I feel like it's an experience that all women get and I never had."
